Gyeongju is a city in South Korea that takes you back in time. Its numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites serve to preserve its unique history and culture. In this article, we'll take you on a tour of some of Gyeongju's most intriguing sites, including as the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village, Ancient Tombs in Inwang-dong, Woljeong Bridge, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Donggung Palace & Wolji Pond. Our first trip was the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, which has more than 20 tombs dating back to the Silla Kingdom. Small burial mounds and large-scale tumuli are both types of tombs. We'll discuss our trip to the Third Infiltration Tunnel, the Dora Observatory, and the DMZ village in this blog entry. We'll also discuss the delicious soybean ice cream we had to cap off our tour.
